From the Pastor's Pen - April 29, 2020

Blessings all,

God has brought us through another week. As we know, we do not live in a perfect world until we reach heaven. The current situation won’t be the last crisis in the world for any of us. We cannot outrun, outdo, outsmart, or outlive trouble. Trouble has a way of popping up, even during good times in our lives.

If you feel overwhelmed by this pandemic or life in general, please read John 14:1, "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me." If someone comes to you and asks where your peace comes from, give this word of GOD to them. There is Peace in the midst of this storm, Philippians 4: 6-7 tells us: "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

Please keep praying, everyone near and far! Like the Apostle Paul stated, may I learn the secret of being content in all circumstances, knowing that: Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."

May our prayer be: USE US LORD as your DISCIPLES to bring healing to a hurting world. WE LOVE YOU, LORD! WE TRUST YOU, LORD! And WE BELIEVE IN YOU LORD! Be safe, stay healthy, missing all, and keep PRAYING!
