From the Pastor's Pen - May 20, 2020

Another week has gone by and the Lord has blessed us over and over again! Praying all are safe and Healthy!

Please be cautious, things are opening up more but remember things are not the same. You must do what is right, and pray to God for him to lead you and do the right thing, for you and others.

Our God is Faithful, he keeps his promises. Hebrews 13:5 "Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you.'" The next verse reminds us of the power that comes in trusting GOD and how we can live. Hebrews 13:6 "so we may boldly say: 'The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?'"

Remember God loves us, and in Christ, we find confidence and calm in times of uncertainty and trouble. When we trust in God, fear is replaced with Faith, stress is replaced with strength, anxiety is gone, and hope abounds.

Please be careful. Turn to Jesus. He will lead you, just ask of Him and listen! He will lead you to the still waters and give rest for your troubled soul. Psalms 46:10 tells us "BE still, and know that I AM GOD!"

Missing all, pray to see you soon. Don’t forget to pray, do the right thing, and help others when you can.

Blessings, Pastor William K. Garr and Sis Deb.
